Free and Unmissable Attractions

The Venetian Las Vegas

Casino

This hotel simulates Venice!

It even has canals with gondolas, and when you’re inside, don’t forget to look at the ceiling!

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

Botanical Garden

The hotel itself is wonderful, but the garden inside it is amazing!

All the flowers are real and they change the decoration several times a year.

Check before you go to make sure it will be open; it’s open regularly but closes on days when they change the decoration.

Fremont Street Experience

For me, this is the place that most has the Las Vegas vibe!

It’s a closed and covered street, the ceiling is a big screen, it plays music all day, has street performers of all kinds, many small shops, and many events take place here.

If you want a calmer vibe, go during the day. At night it tends to be more chaotic, but it’s very common for people to go as families with children too.

EXTRA TIP: There are 3 stages here, one at each end and one in the middle. Check their website for the show schedule; sometimes there are concerts by very famous bands, and all of this is FREE! At Fremont, I have already seen shows by Simple Plan, The Pretty Reckless, All American Rejects, among others.

Circus Circus Hotel and Casino

This hotel is circus-themed!

Inside you can watch circus acts like magicians, clowns, and acrobats.

It’s great for kids because it also has an indoor amusement park and a SpongeBob store.

Here is also the only place with casino machines that you play using coins.

Bellagio Fountain

This hotel was where they filmed the movie Ocean's Eleven!

The fountain in front of the hotel has a water show synchronized with music and it’s truly spectacular.

On weekends and holidays, shows run from noon to midnight.

On weekdays, shows run from 3 PM to midnight.

This place is wonderful!

It has animals, a museum, plants, a little train, trails, and my favorite part: an area that simulates old Las Vegas from 1905, with a hotel, house, bar, bank, and all of it interactive. I LOVE it!

This one is beyond words!

A huge place that doesn’t seem real. Photos don’t do it justice; you have to be there to understand.

A closer option for those who want to see a Canyon.

It’s much smaller than the Grand Canyon but still amazing.

BONUS TIP: Wear hiking clothes, comfortable sneakers, and bring water.

Food is a part of the trip that I find very personal.

Everyone has their different tastes and budget when it comes to food.

But here I listed 3 options that I think are interesting to know.

In-N-Out Burger

This is a CLASSIC!

They serve tasty, cheap burgers, and everyone traveling to the United States has to eat here at least once.

BONUS TIP: They have a secret menu with some items; research it to learn more.

Boca Do Brasil

Brazilian Restaurant

The best place to cure homesickness ♥

Here you’ll find pastel, Brazilian pizza, coxinha, ready meals, and portions.

Heart Attack Grill

Hamburger Restaurant

This restaurant is hospital-themed, and if you don’t finish your meal, the nurses will punish you.

You can order your burger with up to 8 patties!!

Good to know:

The famous LAS VEGAS sign

You HAVE to have this photo!

The best time to guarantee your photo here is early in the morning, when there is usually fewer people.

BONUS TIP: You don’t need to stand in line for the photo, you can go to either side and your photo will come out just like mine.

You will walk much more than you imagine!

Don’t forget to pack comfortable sneakers; places in Las Vegas are much farther apart than they seem. And don’t worry about wearing sneakers in casinos—you’ll see people dressed in all kinds of ways you can imagine.

BONUS TIP: In some casinos, you can find vending machines selling emergency shoes in case yours are hurting your feet.

This outlet has fewer stores but is covered and easy to walk around and find shops.

Perfect for rainy, cold, or extremely hot days.

Las Vegas North Premium Outlets

This outlet has more store options and is much larger.

It is an open-air mall, more spacious but without shade and a bit confusing when trying to find stores.

SAFETY & LOCAL TIPS

Safety Level: Generally safe in tourist areas; stay vigilant at night and avoid isolated spots.

Avoid Scams: Beware unofficial casino promoters and keep an eye on your drinks and belongings.

Local Laws & Customs: Gambling age 21+; public intoxication is illegal; use marked crosswalks.
